  1. failed attempt= not being honest to who you are and trying to please other peoples tastes

successful= when you pour ur emotions out onto canvass not worrying if people think you're psycho or deranged

  2. A failed attempt could be as simply as not achieving the aesthetics you wanted; success could be realizing those aesthetic standards.

"It is a common experience to observe that a particular painting—for example, a still life of apples—makes its subject “more real than it is in reality.” The apples seem brighter and firmer, they seem to possess an almost self-assertive character, a kind of heightened reality which neither their real-life models nor any color photograph can match. Yet if one examines them closely, one sees that no real-life apple ever looked like that. What is it, then, that the artist has done? He has created a visual abstraction." Ayn Rand

Now, imagine that it was your goal to paint something--anything--"more real than it is in reality." But when you and your critics look at it all they see is brush strokes, or odd colors, or odd textures you wouldn't want to see in an apple you are about to eat. That would be a failure.

Of course, a failure could be much bigger. I'll leave it to your imagination. I'm sure you can think of something.

Oh, but I'll leave you wil a real life scenario. On opening night, the muscial "Oklahoma" had a different name and the song "Oklahoma" was not even conceived. The producers thought their musical would be a hit. It was a terrible failure. The composers stayed up all night, wrote the new opening song "Oklahoma," changed the title of the musical to that name, and the rest is history. A success from a failure.

  3. Failed attempts at Art include the paintings of Pollock, Cezanne, Kandinsky, Klee and Picasso. Successful ones include the paintings of Vermeer, Velasquez, Raphael, Titian and Leonardo.

  4. A failed attempt at art in my opinion is when you a) copy someone else's ideas or b) when you do a work of art with only what other people are going to think about it on your mind.

A successful attempt at art is when you feel you have completely expressed yourself through your work and feel that you are proud to show off your work to anybody.

  5. Successful (i.e. proffesional) attempt: Portraying your message as you intended

Failure attempt: Even though I gave a successful attempt I don't t think you can fail at art. Succeeding at art I think is if you plan on making a career out of it. But I think anyone can create art. Everyone has their own image that may or not be understood.

  6. THERE ARE NO FAILED ATTEMPTS AT ART, GOD MADE US WITH DIFFERENT TALENTS SO  IN HIS EYES THERE ARE NO FAILED ATTEMPTS HE KNOWS US.

ONLY MAN OR WOMAN TRIES TO JUDGE US , WHEN MADE THEY SHOULD TAKE A GOOD LOOK AT THEMSHELVES.

WOULD THEY LIKE WHAT THEY see? EYES WIDE OPEN

JUST DO YOU AND LET GOD HANDLE THE REST
