Help me beat my parking ticket!

Question

I was waiting for my boyfriend to come out of Sidcup McDonalds with my very deserved hangover big breakfast..... I was parked at the back of a bus stop and to my absolute horror saw a scummy traffic warden taking photos of my number plate! In a silly reaction, I drove off!

I havent heard anything yet but is there anything I can do if I do get fined? Im not working at the mo and cant really be arsed to suffer because I was waiting at a bus stop for 4 minutes on a saturday!

PS. In case I offended a traffic warden who happened to be reading this..... I DONT CARE! GET A REAL JOB!

Please, please, please fight any ticket that you get in court and be sure to use these same excuses!  

1. Parked illegally

2. Waiting for YOUR well "deserved" hangover breakfast

3.  Too busy partying to find a job

4. Arrogance and attitude toward someone actually working a real job

5.  How dare anyone ask you to suffer for breaking the law!

I'm sure the Judge will see your point right away!

WAIT WAIT WAIT.... you don't have a job and your getting mad at the traffic warden for doing his job and then going further telling him to get a real job. Where is your job. It's all in the city what the traffic warden could do.

dunno i'm not from the uk

but yeah he could give the info to someone who could write a ticket which would suck but as far as i know there's nothing u can do about it i'm guessing u have the right to challenge the ticket in court (most of the time at least in the US the cops don't' even show up so automatically u win cuz u have the right to face ur accuser)thats about the only way u could beat it but i'm sure its too much of a hassle to do

WOW what a whiney little girl you are, ok you were parked illegally pay the fine and stop trying to avoid your responsiblity. GROW UP! DID YOU OR DID U NOT PARK KNOWING THAT IT WAS AGAINST THE LAW? WELL IF YOU CAN ANSWER YES THEN OWN UP YOU CAN EVEN ASK FOR COMMUNITY SERVICE *SINCE YOUR NOT WORKING ANY WAY* beyond that stop crying to the world about you making a decision that you dont' like the outcome of. it's called natural concequences. learn it live it love it. but stop crying to us about your decision that you dont' like the outcome of. and they are doing their job you know the thing that you DONT HAVE yeah so they have a job it's a real job they get paid. oh wait you dont 'know what that is since you just live your life and probably live off your boyfriend. so when you get a job you will understand they do what they can just to survive, your spoiled thoughts are not even worth sharing with the world. it's a job a real job. they pay him/her there is a schedule they have to go by and they have supervisors, sounds like a real job to me you stupid little girl. oh and they make more money than you think they do try about 80 k a year. oh but wait it's not a real job right? Think about what your going to write and think if it's intelligent, i hope you go to court and i hope you talk back to the judge and tell him that the parking attendent needs to get a real job in fact why dont  you tell the judge that see how far it gets you in fact bring a copy of what you posted on yahoo answers! yeah that's how you should handle this. Hey, the traffic warden isn't the one crying about not having a job and not being able to afford a ticket. Those who live in glass houses should not throw stones. And those who can't pay the fine shouldn't do the crime.

A Trafic warden has no power basically. So if he took pictures of your plates? Whats he gonna do he cant write the ticket. Somone who has the power must write you the ticket, what is a picture of you parked by a bus stop? Your in the car and its running correct? Why would you get a ticket you didnt "park" there car is still running and your in it.

Don't worry about it worst case you might get a notice in the mail telling you to pay the ticket....If you do just pay it and move on...GOOD LUCK
