I have a 10 gallon tank: I have 1 shortish fake plant that has long leaves, 3 tall short leaf plans that glow in the dark, 1 rock with holes in it, another seashell type of rock with a hole in it, and 1 rock with a small plant on it, is this too much decor for fish?, I wanted to give them places to hide but they're just swimming slowly

  1. Did you wait a few days before you put the fish in to let the chemicals evaporate? Cause if you didn't, they'll die. Take them out and but them in a smaller tank or big bowl with purified water in it. Or you can go but a few gallons of distilled water at the grocery store. Also, buy chemical remover and put a few drops in there.

  2. Make sure that you gave the water time to filter and heat before you put the fish in, otherwise they will die, and that is way too many decorations, take some out and hopefully they will be fine.

  3. They do need room to swim so if you fill the tank up with decor it limits the space they have.  You can lose 2 gallons or more of tank capacity by putting in gravel and decorations.

  4. You might want to take out 1 or 2 of the 'tall short leaf plants.' and one of the otherthings. Fish need room to swim. GoodLuck!

  5. WAY TO MUCH TAKE OUT THE ROCKS AND THE FISH WILL BE FINE
