I know the more the cost, the better the filter is...

but there are so many out there...which one would be wise to buy?

I want to keep the $$$ as low as possible and yet get what my expensive lens deserves.

How about sharing a cheaper deal...if you know of any?

Don't just mention brands, please include model number/name too. For eg. Hoya green, Hoya Pro1, Hoya HMC (grey)...etc

  1. Hoya HMC or Super HMC.  Check hvstar.com

  2. Go to:

    www.overstock.com

    Good brand filters, very cheap.

I am satisfied with my purchases.

  3. You can get away with less expensive UV filters, since you will be replacing them from time to time.

Buy a nice middle range polarizing filter.

All Hoya's are good filters, some are just a little better than others and they also have filters for photographers who have OCD ... LOL
