  1. Personally I love flow bindings, they are the quickest way to get in, they keep you locked in and they are pretty responsive. Right now I ride the flow nx at, which are more advanced, but before them I had flight 2s, which where fine for starting out. You should also check out the amp 5 and amp 9, they both work pretty well. If you get more advanced, you should look into the nxt series, or the m series.

Though some people don't like flows, and most of my buddies that don't use them use either flux, burton or ride, sorry though I'm not the most familiar with their models, so I would suggest just going down to your local snowboard shop and they can hook you up with something nice.

  2. burton makes really good bindings cause i hav a pair now, but i'm getting new ones for next season, flux super emblems are great for park and all mountain, but i'm getting forum republics

  3. I currently have Burton Mission's and I love them.

The only have one complaint about Burton bindings (and a few other companies use the same design) is that to twist the highback parallel to your board edge, it used the same pivot as the highback front/back lean.  This becomes an issue because it has to be tight enough for your highback not to twist back to even, yet loose enough to allow your highback to fold up and down.  It's not a big deal, I just have to tighten up those screws every couple of days.  Also, you probably won't be doing this so don't worry about that feature.

Brands I think are great:  Burton, Drake, Flux

Brands I think are pretty good:  Bent Metal, Union, Salomon

Binding's I didn't like so much:  Ride SPI (too stiff), Technine (S****y rachets)

Be sure to get bindings that fit your boots well.  My boots are size 11 yet their overall size is pretty small so even though Large bindings suit size 10-13 boots, I could have fit my boots into a pair of Medium bindings.

  4. You can get really high end bindings from trusnow.com for half of your money. on trusnow its like $3 shipping. I say as for brands go for Burton. Its the best company for bindings and other stuff too.

  5. i'd suggest burton cartels

grab them now while their cheap

they're crazy bindings, super responsive. you may not notice a huge difference since your new...but once you get more experianced with everything....you'll love these
