Ever since my sister dropped my Kodak C875 on the table, and when my dog knocked it off the table, I knew the rattling sounds my camera made was not good..

I'm looking for a new digital camera. Budget £150-£200, preferably 10mp or more, creates very fine crisp detail and as little digital noise as possible.

Can anyone suggest a camera within my needs?

Thankss

  1. Megapixels are not the answer to better image quality. MP's are different from IQ. In fact, the more megapixels will actually increase visible image noise at higher ISO speeds. I'm not saying megapixels are not important, but just that there are other factors when it comes down to image quality. When it comes to point and shoots, Canon, Sony, and some Nikon cameras perform better at higher ISO speeds when compared to Olympus, Kodak, and Casio.

Some cameras that I might suggest are the Canon SD870 IS, Sony W170 or W150, or Nikon s600.

  2. You should get that new camera that Ashton Kutcher has in the commercials, I believe its a Nikon CoolPix S550, a friend of mine got one and shes says its pretty cool!

  3. you needs a DSLR.try nikon D 40. or if price is a problem you may go for a Canon Powershot SD870 IS 8.0MP Digital Camera
