  1. white player's choice (aplayerschoice.com) are currently the most popular sleeves, although i prefer white ultra-pro sleeves (ultra-pro.com), but since max protection (maxprotection.net) has improved the quality of their flat line, i'm in love with their flat pink sleeves.

but it really comes down to preference. IMO, i find it quite hard to keep player's choice sleeves from getting dirty, ultra pro's are quite slippery and can't stay in an even stack, and max, while they have got much better, do still fall apart. but, if you have the skill, win a hobby league tournament, the hobby league sleeves are quite amazing

  2. Look on ebay for the ones with pictures on them. Those are really good to use.

  3. I'm not sure but i prefer the black ones

  4. First, with Yu-Gi-Oh!, always make sure you are getting smaller sized sleeves. Normal sleeves (sized for Magic cards, etc.) will be too big and can be very obnoxious to wield.

You'll want to look into Brand first, and then color. Certain brands are more durable or cut better than others. The brand you choose is your choice entirely, but let me put up some options:

Dragon Shield: These sleeves are very durable, but they are often cut poorly and are different lengths. This could be an issue if you are taking your deck to a major tournament.

KMC: These sleeves are harder to find as they are japanese imports, but they have rave reviews and are often considered some of the better sleeves.

Player's Choice: These are up with KMC in quality, but are also hard to find. I believe generally you will need to order these online. Many pro players swear by Player's Choice.

Ultra Pro: These are my recommendation if you can't get KMC or Player's Choice. Unlike their normal sized sleeves, their smaller sized sleeves are very durable and have a good cut. These will last you a while.

After you choose a brand, color is entirely your decision. I sometimes like to match the deck theme to the color. Generally clear colored sleeves should be avoided, as then you can't use beat-up cards in your deck if you took it to a major tournament (it would be considered a marked card).

    I hope this helps!
