What would you ask a son with a Father? I want to find out his feelings about how he feels having a Dad, when all his friends dont. Like does he think he will be a better person inside, knowing he had a Dad all his life?? Just alotta different questions about Dads VS No Dad.

  1. Something thats important for the kids with dads...   are the dads activly involved in their lives.

I dont have a dad.  Biological father never in the picture.  While yes, I did feel left out sometimes, I consider myself the lucky one.  I never had to worry about whether or not dad was coming for visitation, whether or not dad would call, write, send money, ect....   I never had to be disappointed time and time again, which is what I watched several friends go through.

  2. Kids with dads:

What do you like to do with your dad?

Are there things you can only do with your dad that you can't with your mom?

Are there other male role models in your life?

What advantage/disadvantage do you think you have being raised with a father that others don't?

    Kids w/o dads:

Do you have strong male role models in your life?

Do you feel as though you may be missing out somewhere in your life without a dad?

Do you think you have an advantage/disadvantage because you do not have a dad?

  3. Male children need a POSITIVE male role model.  Just as much as they need a POSITIVE female role model.  All kids need a mom & a dad.  Each has this role in raising and setting an example for the kid.

Too ofter, boyfriends and/or girlfriends are the role model as a deadbeat parent isn't there.  Unfortunately, all too oftern, these boyfriends and girlfriends are temporary in the kids lives and also might not be the positive influence necessary.

If you don't have two committed parents, please, don't bring any more children into the USA.  The United States has enough partially raised children.
