Help me decide please!!!!

Question

So i've seen a lot of people selling baby hairbands, clips and bows. I'd love to learn how to make these does anyone know where i can learn for free??

Also i want to make personalized burp clothes and blankets. I've never done this before so what do i need to do in order to sell these?? I was thinking craigslist, etsy.com or ebay. Opinons please??

Google will have all the instructions you need. Most people don't "make" these items, they buy them ready made and put the embellishments on.

You will need to know that it takes a lot of experience to get good enough at it to sell something. You'll need to find something nobody else is doing, or that they can't do as well as you.

Etsy does not advertise, so the only people who shop there are the other crafters who sell there. Ebay is fine. I used it when I first started, to learn about shipping and to gather customer testimonials. But the real money comes from having your own website. Look at other similar sites and try to be better than them. I started with a freebie site at tripod.com and graduated to ad-free as the money started coming in.

there was a question on here about a month ago wanting pattern for those cocoon type baby carriers and the site was excellent. If you can find that question go to that site. I forgot to bookmark the site. so sorry.
