Help me decorate my living room?

Question

I need to decide on curtains for my living room. I have one large window (100 inches wide and it would need curtains 95 inches long).

My walls are beige and I have a deep purple couch (think eggplant mixed with chocolate) and espresso colored furniture. I also just bought these throw pillows:

(they are a lot brighter online - in my living room they are warmer and you notice the sheen of the fabric in person)

So, I'm thinking of these curtains in olive. Please view the picture larger and then select 'other views' and then tell me what you think of the green curtains. I'm thinking of doing it just like that picture - in green - using the swirled pattern and solid and sheer underneath. I have a rug in the middle of my couches in a similar color (with a solid woven design). So that's why I'm choosing the green curtains in case you're wondering.

I like what you've done.  Its your house so just make sure you are comfortable with it.  

Check out this mirror from Pier 1, I love it and I think it would match what you've got together already.

First off, those pillows are adorable, I would so buy them.  Ok, with the curtains, definitely a good choice, they are a nice classic design.  However, you might try the set-up they show (5 boxes over) with it drooped in the center.  My mother in law did that to her curtains and it looks awesome.  All in all, from the way it sounds you will have a very nice living room, but still keeping it classic and simple.  I love it!

wow! i think you should do what you just showed i think all the things match really well and i like those colors. you really should use those curtins:)
