I am 5'1 and 128-130 lbs. I am new to free weights and I would like some help. I have 5lb, 3lb, 2lb dumb bells (obviously, I can lift something else, like milk jugs.)

How often should I be lifting? Can you help me devise a plan?

Tips?

Thanks in advance!

  2. Com' is the inglisc linguagg?

The linguagg nasc near 1555 by regin of Inghilterra, when de regin is travel to Roma, and she is persa on the principale street of metropoli.

She chies' at one passant: "'scusem sir, dov'im troving now?"

The rispost is very famosa, it's pressappoc' this: "You are troving vicin'at Colosseo!"

After the ritorno in land of Albione, the regin created the regole grammaticali of inglisg lingua.

  3. Generally speaking, beginners should lift three times a week.  If you only have time to lift twice a week, you can still make progress, but three is better.  More than that is too much for a beginner.

The dumbbells you have are very light.  Very quickly, they'll stop being challenging enough to be much use.  You'll want to get access to some heavier weights.  You don't need a gym membership or a fancy home gym.  There are lots of ways to improvise weights (e.g. knapsack + pillow cases + sand).

Check out Krista Scott-Dixon's web page for lots of good ideas for people who are starting to lift weights.
