Also if I have to sit still in class on the seat its so hard for me, especially if the teacher is looking at me.

  2. I agree with littlemiss.  Medication and counselling often try to cover or surpress the symptoms, but the only real freedom comes when you look at the root of why and what you are afraid of.  Only when you work out what these false thought patterns are, can you begin to change your mindset and set yourself free from them.

You can practise as much relaxation, breathing, listening to music as you like, but if the thoughts are still there you will still feel anxious.

It can get better - I managed to overcome anxiety, but in the end I didn't use the counselling & all that because it is as you say - it doesnt' really deal with things.

Also, try an anxiety internet support group.  There are also some excellent books in the library written by people who have had these issues and overcome them.  Maybe do a search on amazon and read the reviews of these so it helps you know which are worth reading.

  3. If you are taking medication, please see the person who prescribed it and tell them these symptoms.

Also speak with your family about it so that they know whats going on at school and elsewhere and the type of incidents that are happening.

  4. maybe you are bipolar.

If you are and you are taking prozac, well that's not a very good combo. Talk to a psychiatrist.

  5. Please seek advice of a qualified Psycheatrist.

  6. As a victim of anxiety, I know how you're feeling. First of all, you need to know the root of your anxiety. What are you scared of? Are you  afraid people will reject you? Try and look at your fears and come in contact with them so that you can feel better. Think of your classmates as normal people just like you, not some aliens trying to abduct you. There are nice people out there, you just need to find them.

However, it sounds like this anxiety is serious and it's jeopardising your physical health. I would suggest you visit another counselor, preferably a professional therapist. Listen to some relaxing music and keep a journal so that you can vent everything whilst writing. It's hard I know but talk it out with someone you feel comfortable with. Visit a doctor if your health is in danger.

To get these relaxation techniques to work, you need to believe in yourself and be optimistic. Anything's possible and you have the potential to solve your problem.

  7. I don't think you should be using any type of pills as you are not sick.. What you're feeling now is depression, lack of confidence, and its your shyness that is making your anxiety..

You should practice on your self-confidence, and try to make some friends without fear, just try to act normal, and maybe you'll see that your not who you think you are, and that you're capable of doing better things.
