  1. The Italian-Mediterranean diet is a healthy mix of pasta, beans, fruits and vegetables with meats and seafoods, all served in small portions. Although the diet is not low in fat, the principal fat being olive oil, it is linked to lower rates of heart disease. Italians use olive oil rather than butter, and not much double cream.Italian dishes are healthier, particularly, for instance, pasta with tomato or sauces with sun-dried tomato paste, olive oil and garlic (and pepper).

Italians rarely use fatty sauces and steer clear of deep-fried food. Italians' diet is based 60% on vegetables and the Italians don't just boil them!

Here are pastas that may be good. (i guess)

  2. its itailan...ALL CARBS..sweetie it aint gonna be healthy except 4 maby the salad & that depends on the dressing

  3. The only dishes I can think of pasta and spaghetti

  4. i think is spaghetti... you can aslo order a mushroom soup.. is quite good aslo..

  5. i can only say to get pasta without meat.

  6. Your best bet is stay away from things that have cheese or creamy sauces. Also good to stay away from fatty meats like sausages, meatballs and other beef dishes. Pick things that have chicken, pork or veggies with a marinara sauce. Watch out for chicken or pork that may be breaded and fried however, like chicken parmesan often is. Opt for grilled or baked meats instead. Avoid the bread and butter or oil before dinner, too, as there are a lot of empty calories in that. Try starting with a bowl of broth based soup as it is proven to decrease the calories you may consume during the main dish portion of your meal.

  7. chicken tuscana soup

    sphagetti and meatballs

  8. Minestrone! It's an Italian vegetable soup. Insalata Caprese (easy on the mozzarella).

Opt for low fat or fat free Italian dressing on salads (on the side), whole wheat pasta if it's available and tomato-based sauces, not cream or cheese sauces. for the most part, i think moderation is key. watch your portions with any dish you order --restaraunts tend to serve way more on a plate than one individual ought to eat in one sitting.

  9. the only thing I can think of is spaghetti, and pasta, I don't know what kind though
