5.COMPATIBLE WITH WINDOWS VISTA SERVICE PACK 1(that is very importnat)

Well, you will not find a camera with an internal memory of over a few MB.  

* These memories are designed to do three things; be used to "test" the camera in the store, use a backup in case the user filsl their memory card before they are through shooting and as a marketing ploy to impress those who don't have any experience with digital cameras.

Right now a 2-pack of 2GB cards is selling for $20 ... put one in your camera and one in your pocket.

* All cameras made in the past few years are compatible with both Mac and Windows OS's made in the past five years.

* Don't make the pixel count on a P&S camera a make or break issue.
