Help me find a job!?

I'm 21 and I've been working in fast food and retail since I was 16. I have tons of customer service experience. I'm kind of looking for a job with not too much crappy customers (I know in most retail cases, it comes with the territory) and a good job foundation. Doesn't have to be retail again, but I figure that's all I can get since I'm in college and my schedule can get crazy. Any suggestions will be much appreciated!!

- I was thinking of places like target, Albertson's, Kohl's? You can also share experiences w/ me!

  1. You're old enough to make 60k a year truck driving. You can get free training from certain over-the-road companies. After a year or so over the road you can get a local job that pays almost as well, but you get to sleep in your bed every night. Drivers are highly sought after and you will be in demand. It's a good way to save money for college if you have no other plans.

There are plenty of old folks, young women doing this job, so don't get fooled into thinking it's a job for fat unwashed guys.

  2. The truth just think of this way you have a job.  But at the same time if you want something better you could do what I did.  I started helping out in a hospital and was going to school at the same time.  When I left the hospital later on I put a application when I wanted to work in one of the offices.  I guess the hiring area saw that I wasn't new to this hospital and hired me.  Now I am working in Administrative area and going to school at the same time.  Best thing is that my boss helps me out on my schedule because of work.

  3. With your experience, you probably could get a CS position or POS Supervisor position at Kohls.

Kohl's works very well with my schedule while I'm at college.
