I've found that Orbitz is the best to use. For one if you fly from a small airport like i do you can't really get a direct flight to some big city if you don't feel like paying for it in the end. So i use the Multi City Orbtiz function to choose my flights. Say I want to leave early and then my connecting fly isn't till really late. I'll click on flight one the early one, then i'll choose flight 2 to be early than i would if i just book the two flights at the same time.
