Hi, I am trying to figure out the title of a book I have previously read. Here's the info:

A fiction book for middle school ages, maybe younger, written before 1997. It is about a young native american girl who lives in the desert and goes on some sort of journey and learns she can shape shift into a wolf, and possibly other animals.

hey i know that book, amanda can shift into a wolf, fox, cat and she lives in a dry waste land with her father (mum died) and the book is called the she wolf!
