  1. go to walmart or lowe's ,go to the paint department ,get some paint , sandpaper, premixed Spackle, and some fiberglass mesh tape, the tape has an adhesive on it,so it sticks to the wall ,cover the hole with the tape then Spackle over ,it will take a couple of coats ,so put on a layer let it dry ,put on another ,you need to overlap the Spackle between good wall and your hole so you can blend it together ,so start thin and thicken as you go ,when you have hid the hole sand it smooth and paint............tom

  2. go to Home Depot...they have classes on how to repair minor things

  3. I was once in your situation.  Don't worry, everything will work  out for you =)

A year ago I found this organization that gives people up to $1500 in renter or mortagage assistance!  They operate in most US cities, I highly suggest you try to get some of this money.

    Good Luck!

  4. first off see if you can get ahold off some paint that was left over from the original painting job if so, you have no problem........you will just need a putty knife and some joint compound..just spread a couple coats on sand and then paint......

  5. okay, sending the pix was a great idea by the way. Go to a home store, like Lowes or Home depot. They have repair kits for just this type repair. Basically, a piece of screen, some spackle over it. Let it dry, sand it down and paint over it. Might cost you $10 for the kit. The paint you're going to have to ask for, or put a picture over it. I could tell you another way, but by the time you got the materials and tools, you'd have spend a lot more than $10 and it would take you three times as long too.

  6. not a bad fix. The main problem will be the part that is missing. Take newspaper and crumble it up and carefully shove it in the open part so it creates a backing. Do not let it stick out further than the rest of the wall. Get a small container of ready mix wall patch and a large putty knife. Start to put layers of the mix over the area a thin coat at a time. May take four or five coats. Allow each to dry completely before applying the next coat. Smooth each coat out carefully. Continue until it is actually thicker than the wall. When the final coat is dry .. sand it with a fine sandpaper or wall screen. Then you have to paint to match the rest of the wall. It will go faster if each coat you put on is thin and not thick. You will want to put thick coats on to fill it faster but this will cause drying time to be too long and the patch will crack.

  7. I've actually had to do this... and if I can do it you can too!  Here's a great YouTube video that shows you step by step for making the repair. He does it exactly the way I did my repair.  Good luck. I know you can do it... and get your whole deposit back when you move out!

  9. I'm a drywall contractor and I fix these all the time. It takes a lot of detail instructions and I don't have the time to tell you how to make it disappear completly right now. If you are interested drop me an email and I'll get back with you tomorrow.

the basic instructions your getting from other people are right on, but to make it truly right -on-- I can help you a little more

I see a few mistakes the other friendly people are making, but I'll be a gentleman and not discuss them here.

    Well I gots to go

    good luck either way
