Help me fix my subs?

Question

i drive a 1996 chevy tahoe and i have 2 12" infinity 1252w subs in a sealed box. If i turn up the amp too much OR lift the box off the floor its sounds different, i dont know how to describe the different, its just different. sorta like a loud deep rattle, if that makes any sense :-P. somebody its because my box isnt heavy enough? and someone told me its becuase the box isn't bolted down? maybe i should go ported?

now i know im not overpowering the subs cause its a cheap little 2 channel amp, im getting a bigger amp and i wanna be able to turn it up, its just if i turn it up to loud it makes the same sound as if you were to lift up the box

Sean H is an idiot, didn't even answer your question?...

But I really can't tell you, but try getting a better box, "possibly"...and maybe an even better sturdy amp, and just fiddle with it untill it probably suits you well.
