Help me fix my ugly dorm room!!!?

Question

OK, it has a huge closet that completely covers one wall but the thing is, it is a very ugly worn down dark wood. I want to cover it up with something, but it can't be permanent...... sorry for the trouble but it would be great if you had any great ideas. I want to try to fix or cover it up any way possible. NO PAINT.

you can put up curtains that cover an entire wall, top to bottom.

adds color, and interest.

My daughter had a similar problem.  We went out and purchases some king sized sheet (cheaper than buying fabric by the yard), soaked them in starch mixed with water and applied them on the wall like wallpaper.  When you leave (or want a change), just peel it off!!  It looks fabulous and is definitely not permanent!  Good luck!

MATERIAL. attach with tacks, 2 sided tape, etc. Your choice of color, maybe add school colors, accent with black or deep browns. Or keep it monotone - shades of one color and accent with a pop of the contrasting color. Good luck. LT

Try putting up some posters, or try putting up a curtain to cover the entire thing! Hope that helps!

Go to IKEAs online site and check out thier products.  They have lots of fabrics and solutions that you could use that are cheap and not permanent.  If you have a store nearby, you should check out the example displays.  Plus it is so cheap even a student can afford it.

if you cover it solidly with pictures that would look cool.
