Help me fix my windowsil...please?

Question

im about to move out of my apartment and i need to fix my windowsil... my dog chewed on it a few times and messed up one side of it... can someone tell me how to fix it exactly? step by step i have no clue and i really need my deposit back...thx

yea if it was my own house id rip the whole board  out and put in a new one, it looks very old and rotton!

Seing as its not your house i wouldnt bother i would get the piece that was knocked of and glue it back on with wood glue fill in any gaps holes with wood filler get sand paper and sand down the roughness so that it is smooth and then paint the whole windowsill !

pretty serious damage...

cut off the chewed portion and glue on a piece of wood that is the same thickness.  Sand it back to what it originally looked like and give it a couple coats of paint. good as new!
