Question:

Help me get off bread & cheese!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?

I've been a lazy vegetarian for about 12 years now. I hate the taste/texture of meat, and I gag at the taste of most vegetables. Fruits are good, love them (I imagine it's because they are sweet...) Therefore I've been living on breads & cheese, bean burritos, chips and LOADS of sweets.

I would LOVE to be a healthy vegetarian - possibly a vegan (so i could wipe cheese from my diet!) I just don't understand why I find the taste of vegetables so revolting. It also doesn't help that I generally don't like things mixed together (the site & taste of veggie soup makes me want to vomit..)

Any advise / websites???? I need something to help me change!! I just don't think it's possible! I'm losing hope.

is tastebud transplants an option yet? :)

  1. We buy goat's cheese from a friend who raises the goats herself. Mr. "Bad Toxins" up there has got the corporate voodoo working, I guess.

Moderation on the cheese. Try to buy locally-produced brands. These are more expensive and that'll help cut down your consumption. As for breads, if you aren't making it and baking it, then why are you taking it?

  2. i hate fruits and vegetable.s i dont know how to make myself eaqt them either. its a weird thing like th texture. i cant kick the bad habbit eather.

  3. Any lactating mammal excretes toxins through her milk. This includes antibiotics, pesticides, chemicals and hormones. Also, all cows' milk contains blood! no more dairy for u lol

  4. If you don't like the taste of raw vegetables, try them steamed. They are softer and have more of a delicious flavor. You could also try dipping raw veggies in ranch, peanut butter or cottage cheese to make them taste better. Or get a bunch of mixed veggies and dump soy sauce on them. If you still don't like vegetables and none of that helps, try taking vitamins to get your daily servings. I take gummy vitamins from a company called Juice Plus. But it also is important to still eat fresh veggies.

About your cheese obsession, I don't know what to tell you. Sounds like your addicted! I suppose you should just eat less and less of it everyday. Cheese contains loads of cholesterol which is definetly not healthy for your heart, especially if you eat pounds of it everyday.

Sorry I couldn't help more, but good luck anywho :)
