  1. I really feel for you in such a compromising position. The speaking out loud is not such a difficult thing, as someone else suggested just pick a spot on the wall at the back, or look at the tops of ppl's heads. take deep breaths and think about a place or sound that you really feel at peace in, such as listening to a waterfall or being at the beach (they help me). then when you feel calmer it will seem easier. Now the other problem is the fact that you are being bullied by stupid, ignorant ppl. This is not something you should keep to yourself and i urge you to speak to someone about it, a teacher or an adult that you trust. some ppl in this world are only happy when they are dissing others eg the person who said learn how to spell to you on here! but they are weak which is why they feel the need to belittle others. please make a stand against them in a productive way or it maight get worse in the future and can effect the rest of your life. I wish you well and hope everything goes ok

  2. go with it, do anything possible to gain and retain self esteem and confidence, volunteer if need be, its just a matter of time before everyone forgets your being shy and sees you as hero or a role model

Do not give in to your sickness, and don't let anyone hold you back. Remember where there is a will there is a way, you never know what the future holds for you

  3. don't be afraid!!!

  4. Confide in a close friend, they make take your place for you. As u know i have the same problem & talking 2 people has really helped. You really should talk 2 a teacher you trust to, as then they wont force you in2 situations like this. Technically they cant force u 2 do it, & if they try they can get into a lot of trouble.

If all else fails, realise your better than them & decide you are not going to give the bullies what they want - a chance to laugh at you. If not, dont look at them, stare at a fixed position & breathe deeply, it slows you down.

    hope i helped xx

PS: From one boosh fan to another, i really think you should tell your parents, they could really help you & offer u the support u need.

  5. I have just tried to answer another question along these lines in which a young person was asking for some support, in which everyone else said they should rely on their parents and I said that although parents obviously love their children very much and more than anyone else, parents may not always have all the expertise and confidence available and the young person maybe can and should also begin to liaise directly with the teachers, youth services etc. for themselves.

Presumably your parents know though that you have cerebral palsy, but you are trying to hide from them the extent to which it is holding you back at school.  I would think both talk to your parents and the teachers, up to now your parents may feel solely responsible, so if you begin to take your destiny into your own hands they may be pleasantly surprised, and you may be all able to work together with the teachers in a more positive way.  It is unacceptable that anyone should be bullied at school, and any teachers who don't accept this are being being increasingly forced to do so.

I had a very bad stammer at school which unfortunately neither my parents or my teachers understood, so I had trouble reading aloud as well.  It never really got sorted and I always underachieved, but looking back on it I think I would have been better challenging my teachers over it initially, who were paid to extend this sort of awareness as part of their job and were not as emotionally involved, rather than my parents.

  6. pull a sickie!! you wont get picked on 4 chickening out, you wont get picked on 4 embarrasing yourself, stops you stressing out!!

  7. say that the people that bully you bully u and point at them and say the teachers did nothing and then the next day bring boxing gloves with you and beat them up

  8. learn how to spell properly would be a start

  9. maybe inform a teacher and say how much you dont want to do it, b/c technically they CAN'T make you do anything. If that doesnt work maybe confide in a close friend and see if they will do in the assembly. I hope that you have someone to talk to about the bullying because you shouldnt have to deal with that by yourself. Hope this helps and if you wanna talk some more just email me and il be happy to chat! Good Luck xoxo

  10. When you get up in front of people just pick a spot on the wall and stare at it as your talking. Or just act like your fav. singer or sombody is in the room. You would want to act cool in front of them. Allways works for me.
