Help me i am getting my tragus pierced and need to know about pain it causes ?

how much pain does getting your tragus pierced cause because i am getting mine done on friday and i am worried about the pain and i have heared the the sound it makes is worse than the pain is that true if so can any one can tell me coz i would beso happy .

it really doesn't hurt at all, its might hurt a little more for you because you've never had a cartilage piercing before, i have my tragus pierced and a never heard a crunch or anything, just relax and listen to your piercer and you will be fine.

i'm not going to lie... it's painful, but it's not unbearable. it's a little more painful than a regular cartilage piercing. the sound isnt bad, but yeah it's going to be a little painful. good thing is that it's quick. it will also be tender for a week or so when it first starts to heal. if you really want this piercing don't worry about the pain. go for it!

i had both of mine done aug 28 and it didn't hurt at all it hurt for like 30 sec and it went away! i thought it would hurt alot to but i was wrong it didn't hurt at all i was suprized cause alot of people are like your going to have after pain and i didn't but i did my right one was inflamed and it was swollen and it was sore and it did hurt and i went back and she squeezed my tragus and some puss came out but it wasn't nothing to worry about cause it wasn't infected it was just inflamed cause i answer my cell and the house phone and i think thats how i got it some how or i might had got soap in it as well i can't remember but its doing really good now and i love them honestly! if i was you i would get one done its worth it you will love it!

I had mine done about 3 years ago, there wasn't much pain, the noise wasn't that bad either, it was like a crunch.   It was over very quickly!!  I had no after pain and its honestly the easiest piercing I've had!!

Honestly, I didn't find that the tragus piercing was all that painful in the long term.  It does have a pressurized hot pain, but that lasts only a few seconds as the needle goes in, then the hotness is left.  It is nothing to worry about, though it's natural to be nervous.  Just remember the pain is fast and WELL worth it.

the pain of getting it done just like any other cartilage piercing, doesn't hurt much, but you get the heat and throbbing afterwards. i would agree that the crunching sound is the worst part

i never heard a crunch

i didn't realise it was done when had finished.

i couldn't even feel the needle

its never got infected

it doesn't hurt

i cant feel it when i move it about.

its my fave piercing

get it done :)
