Help me i did something stupid!!!!!

Question

ok so i was loading the dishwasher and i couldn't find dishwasher soap (ya no the stuff that goes in the dishwasher) well so instead i used regular Palmolive soap. Now my dishwasher is like over flowing with bubbles and soap I have a towel on the ground soaking up the water but what do i do help!!!!!

That happened to me..several times.

Just clean it up, put some dishes in there, run it.

Keep running the dishwasher until no more soap comes out.

Good thing you did not try it with Dawn!

Turn off the dishwasher first.  Then you have to just clean it up with towels.

yep, i have done that before. clean up the mess and put it on rinse cycle more bubbles will come out just keep cleaning them.  Use less soap next time, that may help

be patient hun it will all drain out.. mmostly on the floor u just need a couple towels when its finished to wipe it up... no biggie.. hey it's cleaning the floor too.. double duty.. LMAO

lol dont use that stuf, just clean up the bubble and use normal dishwashing soap. we did tht before and my dad had a laughing attack.

just leave the towel down there,turn it off, and turn on the rinse cycle 2 get all the soap suds out

Turn off the dishwasher, let the dishes cool(if it uses hot water), and rinse them out. When your parents come home ask them where the soap is so this doesn't happen again.

stop the dishwasher then clean it up

turn it off.  bail the water out.  Use a towel to dry out every bit of water, soap, wetness.  run it again.  repeat until all bubbles outside the unit cease.  Don't use palmolive again.

I'm sure other teenagers have done this before you.  Not that big of a deal.

You need to turn the dishwasher off let the water drain out and clean up the mess!

me and my brother did the same thing but we kept it on and just wiped it up with a couple towels and it was fine
