Help me i have a over humping doggy!!?

Question

i have a new jack russel(Milo) who i rescued from a cruel family member. hes fine now and settle in well hes a good boy! :)

but i have a big prob!!

i also have a 11 year old yorkie terrier mix(Toby) who is permently raped by milo! and my yorkie snaps growls and barks all the time. and milo will not leave him alone! Milo doesnt attack toby he just persits on raping him. any advice? will castration help? or anything else, will they settle down?

ps i do not want to give up any of my dogs i am keeping them. i rekon if milo stopped raping toby they would be fine.

its not called raping.

its called monting or if its male on male. then showing whos more dominate.

you should neuter your jack russel.

It's not rape.  It's a dominance game to prove which dog is the alpha dog.

If Milo is intact, have him neutered as soon as possible.  It takes a couple weeks for the hormones to settle down, but it will help.  If both dogs are male, the mounting may take a while to stop and it may never go away.  My dogs have settled which is alpha, but they still mount each other in play.  But if the non-alpha dog almost knocks down the alpha, all h**l lets loose, as being knocked down could cause the alpha to lose this position.

Please remember:

1) JRT are very hyper dogs.

2) dogs that have been mistreated take time to get over bad habits developed as a result of their poor treatment.

3) if your Yorkie is not a strongly dominant dog, the JRT will take over the role of alpha male-!-

yes I think neutering him would help! Aw i am glad he's in a better home!
