Help me identify a green marine fish?

Question

The fish resembles a butterflyfish, but has green and brown vertical stripes, red eyes, and long pectoral fins and dorsal fin. Please help! If you could give me a common name, that would be equally fantastic. It lives in the saltwater tank at my school, and I'm almost positive it is native to Alabama, USA.
