Help me identify a type of bug in my apartment. Tiny black gnat?

I have had a recent infestation of these tiny black bugs. They are no bigger than an ant. They do not have sectioned bodies like an ant, only a head and the body/wings. They are extremely tiny black bugs, they fly, and they have hard crunchy shells. I found tons and tons of them by my sliding glass door. Last night, I found that my hamster's food was infested with these little black bugs, I was discusted beyond words. I threw out EVERYTHING, the food, the bedding, everything. I am finding these little crunchy gnat-like bugs even in the bathroom, just random ones here and there, like only one or two. They mostly seem to be hanging around the door, my hamster's food, and the kitchen. They seem to be attracted to food or anything sweet (saw one fly out of a pop can which has since been thrown away). I have never ever had a bug problem in my life. Today I had the bug people come spray, but still found some alive ones in my apartment. What are these bugs??

  2. could be termites!

  3. Get a good chemical free spray to kill the ones that the chemicals are not working on.  You may want to look at Kleen-Free or Bedbug Terminator by the same company and use it on any bugs you see.

That shoudl get the last few that are chemical resistent.
