  1. I'm 14 as well, and I am 15 in May

i did it and i lost about 30lbs over about 3-4 months

it really did help, i promise

but anyway, if you want to lose some weight, then you have to limit your calorie intake. i would recommend about 800-1300 calories a day.

you should split this up into protein (white meats, fish and pulses), fruit, veg and dairy. the dairy is important for iron and calcium. it can also be quite low in fat and calories if you have skimmed milk and low fat cheese and yoghurt.

try and avoid sweets, cakes, chocolate and biscuits - they stimulate your appetite, make you more hungry and they have loads of sugar and fat!

protein is essential for weight loss. you should eat either meat, fish or pulses once a day (or more if you want). as you won't eat many carbohydrates, you body turns to fat to use as energy. if you consume fewer fats they will get used up, causing you to lose weight.

protein is vital to maintain your muscle mass.

cut out the chips and crisps, and any other carbs like bread, rice and pasta

if you have to eat carbohydrates have the brown grains like brown bread and brown rice

make sure you exercise lots - try and fit at least 30 minutes into your day if you can. you can do more if you want, but vary it like cardio and muscle training too.

at the beginning of each month set yourself a goal - whether you want to fit into a pair of jeans, lose 5lbs or only eat chocolate once a week, set a goal to achieve.

if you achieve it by the end of the month give yourself a treat - go and see a movie, go shopping with your friends, or go out for a nice meal.

    good luck

    xx

  3. Here are some ways to lose weight.

Exercise: Run 2-3 miles before you eat than, eat a healthy meal, fruit salad, etc. Try to do this 3-4 times a week.

Meals: Stay on a simple diet, also in order to stay on a diet a good thing to do is after have that slice of pizza or whatever you crave, but before you do eat some fruits or nuts to start up your metabolism that after a few minutes have a slice.

    Good Luck!

  4. We were in the same position, kids made fun of me all the time about my weight. Then during the summer in between 8th and 9th grade, I decided to lose weight. I'm not gonna lie, it was extremely hard! However, whenever you feel like eating something unhealthy, just think about how kids made fun of you for being fat. For the whole summer all I drank was water and a glass of orange juice in the morning. I made sure I ate a bunch of high-protein food so I stayed full longer. Only 3 meals a day and no snacks. When I went to restaurants with friends or family, I tried to order the healthiest thing on the menu. As for exercise I started off by walking about two miles a day and it slowly progressed into running about 5 miles a day (Which I still do now.) Good luck with your weight loss, email me if you need any more help.

  5. Well, Its your decision. Do you like being fat? No. Do you want to be normal? Yes. Then its clear. Lose some weight. You can easily lose 40 pounds in 5 months. (I lost 45 pounds in 2 months) Start doing cardio everyday for 30 minutes, and eat 1000-1200 calories a day. I was the same as you at 13 years old.. 5"7 and 160 pounds. I was unhappy, so i did something about it. It just takes some commitment, but just think, in the end you will be thin, healthy, and attractive and it gives you more conifdence knowing that no one is going to make remarks about your body.
