  1. I totally agree wid what Sewingmachine has said. Intel's Core i-7 is d chip he was talking about. It is based on a design code named Nehalem n will start production in the 4th quarter of this year. This new chip has been developed 2 save power n Boost graphics. So I advice u to wait a little bit so that u get d latest n best.

  2. Hi Upgrade the system with below

    Intel P35 ATX Intel Motherboard

nvidia 8600/8800/9600 or ati 4850 (depends on your budget)

    Intel Core 2 Duo E7200 Wolfdale 2.53GHz LGA 775

    ddr2 ram

    Maiba3481

  3. If you really want to upgrade, you should put it off for a few months. Intel will be releasing their nehalem processors soon. It will use x58 chipset and ddr3, but i'm sure it will be very expensive at launch.

Another thing I would like to add is for you not to have "brand loyalty," since companies are constantly trying to outdo each other and sometimes, the "other company" wins by a huge margin. Don't pick a product based on the name; instead, choose the one that performs better.

The latest motherboards actually cost upwards of $300 dollars, so that alone would exceed your budget already.

    That being said,

DFI BloodIron P35-T2RL LGA 775 Intel P35 ATX Intel Motherboard

nvidia 8600/8800/9600 or ati 4850 (depends on your budget)

    Intel Core 2 Duo E7200 Wolfdale 2.53GHz LGA 775

    ddr2 ram

I suggest not skimping on the GPU and buying the 4850 since if you're gonna use it for multimedia, you need a great gpu for bluray playback.

I'm not familiar with your currency but I think this should cut it

  4. Sounds like your best bet is looking through your phone book and sales papers for the nearest computer store near you...  You will pay the price for buying from small shops or stores...
