When I had my first I lost it on saturday morning and by monday night was in labor but all the books i read and doctors I asked said up to four days could go by

I lost mine the moment the contractions started but some women can go up to 3 or more weeks after losing their plug. Sometimes you could make another one to replace the one you lost.

I lost mine on three separate occasions first time about three weeks ago and twice on monday. I still haven't gone into labor. I'm getting a c section on tues though. You can lose it in pieaces or just all at once which most people do.

I lost mine yesterday and I'm still not in labor and I was due on Sunday. Hope I helped and GL.

It depends.....you can loose your your plug and still not go into labor. You need to let your doctor know that you lost your plug so they can more closely monitor you. They wont let you go to long with out a plug so don't worry. Once you loose your plug chances of infection rise after so many days. Then this rises more if your water breaks and nothing happens. Most doctors allow a few days to see if you naturally will go into labor. Try walking a lot and staying active. They even say that s*x can stimulate labor and it wont hurt baby. Don't do that unless your doctor says its ok. With my daughter I was induced so i didn't loose it till I was in the hospital. With my son I don't really remember but I'm sure it was within a few days. I'm expecting my third so will see if this one comes fast. I am hoping not to fast.
