Help me !!!my ipod touch is being weird

ok the ipod touch icons i paid for to get the ones that are like stocks and weather and stuff like that when i restored my ipod the icons i paid for are gone now and i want to know how to get them back. and i paid for the new upgrade to get applications on itunes and the software wont go onto my ipod help

you can also use it as an I-paperweight or an I-brick. Ipod's are popular rubbish, there are better players on the market
