Help me out fake 100 dollar bill?

Hey i found a 100 dollar bill recently and i used it to buy a game. I have now lost the game and the guy is really mad he called me and told me it was fake :S I have a witness with me when i found it and i truly thought it was real! I had no idea it was fake. What if he gets the cops involved i really cannot afford 100 bucks right now. what should i do?

he cant do anything about it, he took the 100 dollars off you, and gave you a game...its his problem, absoultly nothing to do with you... he shuda been more carefull...if he does get he cops involved, just explain what happened...

If your the sort of person who has morals then you should go to jail cause you bought an item with money you knew wasnt yours.

The fact the note is also false means you could have made it !!!

There is some doubt here.  How do you know the counterfeit bill was the one you gave him?  He may have gotten it someplace else and is trying to shift blame to you.  If you take a counterfeit bill into a bank, they take it and don't give it back.  It's your loss.  You really can't go back to where or who you got it from and demand a good bill.  The FBI would be very interested in knowing where you got it and may talk to you.  If they're satisfied that you found it, fine.  If you had gotten it from somebody, they'd want to talk to that person.  If you want to make it good, that speaks for your character.  Return the game and learn from the experience.  If you lost it, then there's nothing you can really do if you can't return the money.  If you don't have it you don't have it.  Next time, take found money to a bank and see if it's real before spending it.  Also, it won't kill you to wait to buy another game.  Put it into perspective, you'll survive.  ; -)
