Help me out on xbox 360 hard drive?

does it have to be an xbox 360 hard drive from a video game store, or can you use any type of hard drive cuz i have a 300gb hard drive here at home and i was wondering if i bought an xbox 360 would it work on it

The answer is no as the format of the hard drive of the 360 differs than any other external hard drive you have... So, buy a 360 hard drive I think there is a drop in the price list after the release of the 60 GB hard drive.

no you need the xbox hard drive regular one wont connect to the xbox console
