  1. This web site should help you out.

    You will need to learn it sooner or later.

    So, do not put off until tomorrow what you can learn today.

  2. ok start with the first part 2x+y=9, you isolate the y by subtracting 2x from both sides of the equation so now y=9-2x.

    Then you plug "y" value into the bottom equation...

    4x-y=-15 is the same as  4x -(9-2x)=-15 than you work out the parentheses and you get 4x -9+2x=15

    -Subtract 9 from both  sides and you get 4x+2x=6.  So 6x=6, they divide both sides by 6 and you get x=1.

    Pretty sure this is correct but I haven't taken algebra in over 5 yrs. Good luck.

  3. I really don't think that getting others to do your schoolwork is the best approach to an education.

  4. 2x + y = 9

    4x - y = -15

    y = 4x + 15

    2x + (4x + 15) = 9

    6x + 15 = 9

    6x = -6

    x = -1

    2(-1) + y = 9

    -2 + y = 9

    y = 11

    (x,y) = (-1, 11)

    EDIT: the person above me made a mistake when going from  4x -(9-2x) = -15

    to      4x -9 + 2x =15

    they dropped the negative on the 15, probably a small slip-up. that's why they got x =1 as opposed to x =-1

    just wanted to clear that up.
