I've used a sponge, a brush, my fingers, I've moisturized, I haven't, I've done everything. Any necessary tricks of the trade? It seems like it always finds a way of sliding off my face or not staying or just looking completely trashy & too made up. I'm going crazyyy!

  1. I use cotton pads, just squeeze the tiniest amount, and brush it over your face lightly on the cotton pad.

  2. NONONO sorry haha but dont use your fingers anymore to apply the makeup, becuase the oils from the body stock up in the ends of the body like fingers, toes, and your head-hair) and when the oil is mixed up with the foundation it cloggs the pores, just use a sponge to blend, and dab it in, and for on the spot like pimples use a Q-tip.

  3. try using dream matte mousse foundation. u just use ur fingers

  4. always wash tone and moisturize.

try using a mattefying primer for your face.

pump a little onto the back of your hand.

take a brush ...a foundation brush. something like this http://www.sephora.com/browse/product.jh...

take a little of your foundation and in small strokes, apply it to your face. start around your nose/under your eyes and work your way out.

i think the trick is to use small strokes..really like youre painting your face.

    then..SET with a loose powder.

it may be the primer or the setting that is the trouble.

if you find yourself looking trashy..make sure you dont pump too much onto your hand..the size of a nickle is too much...maybe closer to the size of a penny might be better. try using a kabuki brush to buff out your makeup to make sure its not too much/caked on. also..make sure you have good lighting. that way you'll be able to tell if you have too much on.

  5. maybe the foundation you're using isn't a good one. there's one from avon called perfect wear extralasting liquid foundation thats only $7.99 right now that i've had lots of customers buy and also one thats called ideal shade where your skin looks natural in any light for the same price - check them out at: http://www.youravon.com/mdelgado - its also always best to use a sponge.

  6. Have you changed brands?

Go to your local trendy make up store like sephora or mac and ask the ladies for the best brand foundation they have for your type of skin.
