Help me pick a language?

I want to learn czech or russian.

I want to learn czech b/c i love the culture and my grandparents where from czech republic.

I want to learn russian b/c i love the language and the culture. but i only have six months to learn one. i want to know which one takes longer. please help

I would go for russian.

I love the russian language.

Russian, because it's a world language and you can use it as a base for learning further Slavic languages.

Learn Czech just because you have Czech ancestors? Complete waste of time. Czech is only spoken in the Czech Republic. The Czech people learn English and German, whereas hardly anybody in the sourrounding countries learns Czech.

If you can do either, than choose the one that will give you more use later on in the future (ie, jobs etc....)
