What I’m looking for in a system is overall good SQ. I have been doing as much reading as possible because of the fact that I live in a small town; I am not able to go out and listen to many subs that I read about. I want a system that give me great bass and both high and low volume. To the best of my ability and budget, I put together a few systems and I would like your thoughts on them as well as a little help picking out which one would give me more SQ then SQL.

System 1

Pioneer DEH-P6000UB

2 sets of Infinity Kappa 60.7cs

Kicker ZX1000.1

2X Alpine SWR-1222D

Hifonics TXi 4406 for comps

System 2

Pioneer DEH-P6000UB

2X JL Audio 12W6

2 sets Infinity Kappa 60.7cs

Hifonics Txi 1008D

Hifonics TXi 4406

System 3

2X Kicker L7 08S12L72

Pioneer DEH-P6000UB

2 sets of Infinity Kappa 60.7cs

Hifonics Txi 1508D

Hifonics TXi 4406

System 4

1 JL Audio 13W7

Pioneer DEH-P6000UB

Infinity Kappa 60.7cs

Hifonics TXi 4406

Hifonics Txi 1008D

I am looking to use a sealed enclosure for the subs. Also on system 4 I’m not sure if that amp will work well with that sub because of it being a 1.5 Ohm sub

  1. head units are really all the same to me so i'm staying out of that category and i'll let someone else answer that for you but ill give you a good suggestion for speakers amps and subs

i see your already on a big budget i'll point you to something around 450-700

for door speakers you should buy bass blockers around 600hz blockers so that you still get some beat but not a lot

    - i don't know what car you have so i don't know the size the speakers are but kickers come in a lot of sizes and they always come through with a good price and a good sound so ill choose the Kicker 08KS6930 these are there top lines and they are a very good price.

now moving on to subs i would go with matching kickers as you chose the kicker l7's 12's in a ported box this will be loud but a very stable sound.

amps. always go hifonics they always deliver when it comes to sound and power the work at highs and nock! at lows giving you that perfect beat you want. a brutus 1600, or a 2000watt you don't want to over do it or try to match it because they have a high RMS that will run it perfectly. also working with this much power your going to need a cap, ruffly a 1.6 or 2.0 farad. and 1 gauge wires. 10 or 12 gauge speaker wires are the only that will work but 12's work perfect you don't need 10 gauge.

so with that you have the perfect setup!

  2. i say u get the l7 they arent that expensive and they will bumb!!!or check  out this page www.ficaraudio.com this subs are for experts!!!they are loud

  3. System 3. Get rid of the hifonics tho.
