Hi guys,

for this upcoming food festival at my college,

im in charge of the CHINESE part only....

there's other ppl in charge of other asian cuisines such as japanese.

so yea im having hard time choosing a title for the poster...which one would be suitable?

1. Asian Cuisine

(Chinese cuisine + Taiwanese Cuisine + Guangdong cuisine)

or

2. Chinese cuisine

(Chinese cuisine + Taiwanese cuisine + Guangdong cuisine)

The first one is NOT Asian.

Asian means more than Chinese and related cuisine. Indian, Thai, Burmese, Vietnamese, Japanese, Sri Lankan food are ALSO "ASIAN".

If you want to say

"(Chinese cuisine + Taiwanese cuisine + Guangdong cuisine)" then stick with "CHINESE style cuisine"

I am Asian (but not telling you which country . hehe)

If other people are doing other parts of Asia go with "Chinese Cuisine."

Although, I have to say, the title is a little boring.  You should try and spice it up, somehow.

Throw diplomacy to the wind.  Both Taiwanese and Guangdong cuisines have long and intimate Chinese rooted histories.

Put in a few explanatory notes if you must, but call it "Chinese Cuisine".

asain cuisine is more appropriate-taiwan and guangdong is asain, not as specific as chinese,- there is a difference, a cultural difference, but go with what ya know.if i was chinese, and you put the 2nd one, i'd be upset a little, and think of you as a stupid american!be careful!
