Question:

Help me plan a MEANINGFUL 5 week trip!?

This summer I will be free for 5 weeks to travel where ever I please. I'd like to travel as well as possibly take classes or volunteer. I have some possible options, but it seems that these things are mostly geared for undergraduate college students. I'm 30 and will be traveling alone. So, again... I'd like to find a place where I can learn and travel WITH PURPOSE.

  1. contact your local church and see if they can steer you in a direction.

  2. The only person who can do that is you.  I, for instance, don't know anything about your personal and family history, the events that shaped your life, or the things that are important to you.

Get a travel agent.  They can help with that stuff.  Especially since your username is Weaboo-Japanese.

  3. maybe for a few weeks go to an ashram in India. the stay at an ashram is free as long as you follow that specific ashrams rules. most ashram rules are to respect everyone there, help out the ashram community as in helping grow food. and you could do yoga with gurus all day. it would be quite spiritual. after that you could just travel around India and experience how beautiful it is and their culture.

  4. seems simple enough - trek europe!

    plenty to see and learn

if you;re the nature type then I've been planning on venezuela for a while - angel falls, los roques (look that one up!) llanos, orinoco delta, roriama and lastly margaritta island

while your in that general area you could try for machu picchu

  5. the holy land of Israel is a great place to be
