My daughter has had watery p**p since we switched her formula, but the last too days she has the runs and has p**p every time i change her diaper. Do you think she could be sick? Or should i wait to see if it goes away? She is not acting weird and does not seem to have a temp but she is eating a little less then before and has the runs pretty bad.

Thank you for all your help!

  1. It may well be just that you've put her on a different formula.  Try switching her back for awhile.  Meantime, strained bananas are often recommended to help with watery stools.

You want to keep close track of what's going on with this - frequent watery stools can quickly cause the child to become dehydrated, and that's potentially serious.  If these watery stools are happening with every diaper change, and you're changing her like every two hours or more frequently, then you need to get her in to see your pediatrician.  If she seems suddenly to get very lethargic, take her to the nearest urgent care clinic or hospital emergency room.

  2. Since this is a young baby, I would suggest you take her to the doctor as she can dehydrate very quickly, and this has been going on a few days now. I would pop in to the ER or if you're in England, call Normed or your local doctor and get their out of hours surgery to take a look at her.

  3. I personally think you should take her to the doctors BECAUSE I PERSONALLY THINK YOU SHOULD TRUST PPL ON THE INTERNET WITH STUFF LIKE THIS PPlease take her to the doctor DO NOT waste time on the net.

  4. my baby had the runs for a week i took her to see doctor when she had gad it for a couple of days all they said is if she seems fine drinking her bottles and not got a temp or dehydrated she will be ok because theres not much else that can be done but if your worried take her to the doctors x

  5. I would call the doctor you dont want to wait to long. Good luck!
