okay, so my dad is getting us this at&t plan, unlimited text messages and all that stuff to get with it. well all my friends have verizon, so would it cost more money to text them, cuz there on verizon and i'll be on a&t.

no.....if you have unlimited texting you can text anyone you want

you get free texts (as much as you want) to any network

If you have unlimited txtmsgs then you can txt anyone as much as you want no matter what network they are on.
