I am a senior in high school and I plan on going into Oriental Medicine. Before going to a graduate school for this occupation, a four year degree concentrating in sciences is required from another university. My question is, where should I go for those four years? I should either go to a college that is cheap (i'm paying for it myself) or I should go to a school known for the sciences in order to be well prepared for college. I am looking at Vanderbilt (I live in Nashville, TN), but its really expensive. I have excellent grades, so admission is not a problem. What do you think? Any comments would be GREATLY appreciated!

  1. Try for a full scholarship, if you do not get one get all your state requirements at a community college and transfer.

  2. john hopkins, duke, vanderbilt, and unc are excellent med schools...but they are also expensive.

cheaper schools such as university of tennessee are cheaper but if youre just going for a 4-year prerequisite...id go for the cheaper school now and the more expensive school later
