multiply eq 1 with (-6) then add to eq 2

-30x + 24y = + 28

y = 24/17

substitute y = 24/17  to eq 1

5x - 4(24/17) = -7

5(17)x - 4(24) = -7(17)

85x - 96 = -119

85x = -23

x = - 23/85
