Its hard 2 explain but is there any way u can like cut songs that u have on ur laptop shorter? coz i want some 4 my ringtone but i dont want the intro i just want the chorus. is there anyway i could have that?x

If you go to www.ventones.com they can have a thing on their website that does this for you. they will let you upload your song and pick out which 30 second "block" of the song you want, then you can save it to your computer and send to your phone. I love it. It is very easy to use and save me space on my computer from having to have extra programs installed. Hope it helps. Good luck.

i use Nero Wave Editor.

its great for exactly what yoru looking for and you can download it. (not free though) but shareware, might not beable to save in the format that you need, but there are other programs for that.

if you have a mircrophone just record the bit you want and use it

You need audio editing software, audacity is quite good and free.

Download and install it, open the song you want, you will get an image of the waveform a jagged line, click and drag the bit you want, you can check if you got the right bit by pressing the play button at the top.  Once your happy that you have selected the bit you want go to the edit menu and click on "trim". Now go to the file menu and select "Save as..." save it with a new file name so you don't destroy the original.

Then you are ready to upload it to your phone.

yep you just need some audio editing program, that will do it.

Go somewhere like download.com and search for audio editing, and pick one thats got decent reviews. There's loads out there.
