ok what is a reliable/unreliable narrator?

a reliable narrator is one who can be trusted, like a character who was really there, or a third person narration. an unreliable narrator is a character who wasn't there or who has traits that would make them untrustworthy. that's all i can remember. hope this helps!

A reliable narrator is a narrator that tells the story like it is.  Everything they say is fact.  An unreliable narrator might be insane and babble on and on about things that did or didn't happen.  You can't trust an unreliable narrator.
