hello all. im here for answers, opinions and advises. hope u guys can help me solve my problems and curiosity. i just started working out at home. using calisthenics, bodyweight training,. i just need to know, if u guys are familiar with diamond pushups, not the regular pushups, diamond pushups. 6 sets of 20 diamond pushups, with less than 60 seconds rest between sets, is it for beginners or for advanced athletes? i need to know first before i end up hurting myself. 6 sets of 20 diamond pushups with 60 seconds or possibly less rest between sets. is it for beginners or advanced athletes? hope u can give your opinions. thanks.

Well, if you do them like that, then they're for advanced.  What you can do, that my team does at football practice is a combination of push-ups and crunches.  You do 3 sets of 15.  First, you do 15 crunches, then you roll over and do 15 pushups, then rest for a couple seconds, then go again.  If that's too easy you can do more sets, or increase the number of push-ups and crunches.
