  1. um i would draw nature u know like clouds in the backround a brige hills lake sunset ocean maybe somethin like that ! anyway i hope u win good luck !!

  2. paint a pic of a horse or dog

  3. Do something involving the media and political agenda (Thats always a powerful topic) - what really works is if you use one of those drawing manikins that you can twist to base your art on, and impose that on a background of TVs with noise, burning flags, newspaper print if you want. Use lots of bold, striking colours.

Its not only current, but presents symbols that can be read many ways, so interesting to do.

And it stays with you...its not just about trying to imitate a subject of life.

Art teachers love that kinda stuff.

Good luck with whatever you do!

  4. whatever you love to draw

  5. when is ur competition~~!!!

hey why don't u try drawing some thing related to ur college subject u can get ur professors attention....

  6. your collage should be something you care about deeply, but also something other people can care about - the specific image of your current boyfriend is unlikely to be of particular interest to strangers, a comment on a social or philosophical issue is much more likely to get interest. If you don't have a great interest in anything, develop an interest first and then go back to art.

You want to take part in an competition, you have to come up with the original idea and also the enthusiasm to complete it at a high conceptual degree and a high level of craftsmanship and design. It's easiest to be enthusiastic about ones own ideas...

  7. Always appreciated is a natural study. something which shows reality. or something in oilcolour, where the colours flow perfect one in another. Something which shows You have already experience. You should show at least a small variety of technics. All this in a good representative folder.

    thanks

  8. Try just taking a walk and really looking around you.  See what attracts your attention.  What about it appeals to you?  Just look around you, and keep looking.  Also, you could just start drawing and keep drawing until you end up with an idea you can work with.

Sometimes, when I'm really stuck, I tell myself to deliberately do a *bad* drawing.  It takes the pressure off.  Often, it ends up not so bad at all!  Good luck!
