Help me please to understand the logic of this?

If it is okay to condemn former Iraqi Deputy PM Tariq Aziz to death for ....... passing death sentences (!?) - is it also then okay to condemn the governors of various states to death for the same reason?

Hmm, a difficult Question. Tariq Aziz  may or may not have signed death warrants, its up for the courts to decide.

Governors are carrying out their elected duty. Now before anyone says Mr Aziz was doing likewise, just following orders I would like to remind you that since the Nuremberg trials etc, these two types are completely different. One is executing prisoners who have been tried and convicted and the other was part of a brutal regime of terror.

Edit: Which brings me to the conclusion that the new Iraqi Govt is clearing out the old guard and will execute all those from that previous regime.
