Help me pokemon diamond. i cant beat the champion and i dont know why!!!!?

Question

well i was battling the legue and doing perfectly fine and now i have come accross the champion I am stuck and i cant see why. my pokemon are

Infernape: lvl 70

empoleon:lvl 55

dialga:lvl 53

staraptor:lvl 54

luxray:lvl 55

torterra:lvl 52

i cant work it out can anyone help me???

First off, your team is waay off in levels. Your're relying too much on Infernape. Leave the League and get the other five to level 65 or so. You should have no problems then. Btw, when you're training them, put Infernape in the last spot so you don't overuse him.

I would say to use crunch with torterra on spiritomb. However, keep in mind that spiritomb has no weakness. And when lucario comes out use earthquake and keep trying to faint him. Kill Gastrodon by using grass type moves with torterra.  As for Garchomp use an ice move if you have one with empoleon if not use a dragon move with dialga. Finally when roserade comes out go ahead and kill him with a flying move with staraptor ice move if you have with empoleon or kill him with a fire type move with infernape.

I beat the champion by using the item ether it will restore your pp by 10 and it helped me a lot and i know that infer nape is your strongest but you cant win with him so level up your pokemon or teach infernape thunder punch i hope i helped.

You actually have three pokemon I used to defeat the elite and champion.

Staraptor

Luxray

Torterra

But they were at high levels.

But your team isn't really strong, either get different pokemon that will defeat the champion's pokemon by theory, or keep training.

Your Infernape's fine, I would train your other Pokemon to level... at least 60-62.  Don't forget lots and lots of heling items.  Note: must have alot of Revives.  REVIVES!!!!!

how did u get all the starters??? and did u use any cheats because sometimes they make ur team worse....

Her first pokemon is Spiritomb. I would suggest having a dark type with you to take it out. Second shell send out Garchomp. Use Dialga, and use roar of time. It should kill it pretty easily. She'll use Gastradon, so send out Torterra, and use a powerful grass type attack. Should be fairly easy. Send out Inferape against  Lucario. Inferanpes speed and attack should be high enough to take out Lucario with close combat. Or Any powerful fighting move. Then milotic. Send out torterra or luxray and just kill it. Finally, Roserade. Send out Infernape and kill it.

And congratulations. You won. (PS I played this battle with the same pokemon to give you a good idea of what you should do.) I did it on an emulator, so I just AR'd the pokemon to be similar ( in level) but mine were probably weaker, since i just used rare candies lol./

Your team isnt very strong, Infernape is the only exception. I think you've probably been spending 2 much time training him. I would get rid of luxray, and possibly torterra. Try and get in a lucario, and try and get all ur pokemon above level 60. I had a lvl 66 empoleon, lvl 62 dialga, lvl 46 lucario, lvl 51 azelf, lvl 52 uxie and lvl 52 staraptor. 2nd time my team was much stronger, and I won with ease, dialga up by 7, i had giratina, salemance, staraptor up by 7, empoleon up by 7 and lucario up by 6. So, i cant remember if u can catch giratina before pokemon league, but try and get ur empoleon, dialga and staraptor above 60. Get rid off luxray and torterra, put in lucario and possibly one of the legendary trio (mesprit, azelf or uxie). But train them up first. For champ, i now use dialga (using only 2 moves, roar of  time, and draco meteor) and it can handle all of her pokemon in pretty much one shot. Have infernape and A STRONG empoleon as back up though. GOOD LUCK!
